I Used To Own A Quilt Shop

Okay, so I used to own a quilt shop named Chester County Quilting in Phoenixville, PA. I had it for eight years. I didn't want to get rid of it, but the economy and a serious shortage of customers made it impossible for me to do anything else but close it. I really miss it.

It's so hard to not blame yourself when your business closes, but that's probably human nature. I made a lot of good friends while working at the shop. Some friendships that I had before I opened the shop grew stronger, and quite a few acquaintances become friends, so it was a success in many ways. Just not financially.

Once the shop closed on August 30th, 2014, I was faced with what to do going forward. Honestly, I'm still trying to figure that all out. In the meantime, I'll be posting about what I'm doing to keep out of trouble, and if nothing else, my family can laugh at me for being such a dork.
